The cheapest way to get to the temple is by riding the Perak Bus on public transportation. From Medan Kidd Bus Terminal, ride bus No. T31a or T31b which will take approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the temple.

B. RIDE-HAILING
Visitors can hire ride-hailing services (Grab) from Ipoh city center directly to Perak Cave Temple. Set the destination to Perak Cave Temple on the ride, which can be quick and convenient option.

C. PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Visitors taking private transport, from the city center and head northwest towards Jalan Kuala Kangsar. Then look for the sign indicating the directions to the cave temple. Once reach, head straight to the entrance of the temple and park the vehicle at the side of the road.

Perak Cave Temple visitors can come in for FREE with opening hours from 8:00 AM to 5.00 PM (Daily). Likewise, the parking is FREE, and visitors are encouraged to pay for maintenance and up keeping of the temple.

History Of Perak Cave (Gua Perak)

Perak Cave (also known as Perak Tong) is considered one of the oldest temples in Ipoh. The temple was built by a Buddhist priest coming from China during the late 1920s and was situated at the foot of a limestone hill.
