Philippine Passport Online Appointment Guide

Welcome as we provide the steps on how to process the Philippine passport online appointment application at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) website. Due to COVID and to minimize the person interaction, all passport application (New, Renewal or Lost) are required to have an appointment. For the time-being, all on-site application, walk-in, courtesy lane are no longer available. Individuals must secure an online appointment, prior to visiting the DFA office. On this blog, we will try to provide the step by step guide on how to secure the Philippine passport appointment.

STEP 1: VISIT THE DFA WEBSITE

Visit the official website for Philippine passport online appointment at https://www.passport.gov.ph/ and then choose the option Schedule an Appointment.

STEP 2: Read The Terms and Condition

Please read through the website terms and conditions of the appointment and schedule system. After which tick on the option I understand, then choose between Start Individual Appointment or Start Group Appointment.

STEP 3: CHOOSE SITE LOCATION

Choose the site location for the intended place to perform the passport application. Currently, a total of 51 site locations are available which are widely distributed to the major cities of the Philippines. There are 13 locations that are set as temporary Off-Site Passport Service.

STEP 4: CHOOSE DATE AND TIME

Once you have entered the site location, choose the next available date and time for the appointment.

STEP 5: ENTER PERSONAL INFORMATION

After choosing the desired date and time for the passport appointment, fill up the necessary personal information (Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Mobile Number, etc.)

STEP 6: ENTER FAMILY INFORMATION

Next is to enter the family information which includes the Father and Mother personal details.

STEP 7: ENTER APPLICATION INFORMATION

Choose the Type of application (New Application, Renewal, or Lost Passport). Then enter the Basis of Philippine Citizen (Birth, Election, Marriage, Naturalization, RA9225, and others)

STEP 8: ENTER CONTACT DETAILS

Enter the contact details (Name and Address)

STEP 9: REVIEW AND SUBMIT

Check and review all the information you have entered, then once confirm, submit the application.

STEP 10: PAYMENT OPTION

The last step is the processing and payment option, where you are given to choose for the processing.

PROCESSING TYPE

  • Regular Processing (P900)- It will take 12 working days to process the passport.
  • Special Processing (P1,200) – applicable only for DFA ASEANA and Consular Office and TOPS Processing.

PAYMENT METHOD

  • Over The Counter – applicable for Bayad Centers Branches
  • Credit/Debit Card

Once you have choose Over the Counter method an additional P50 will be charge as convenience fee for the payment through Bayad Centers. Also, individual are required to pay within 24 hours in order for the online application to be process. After which an email confirmation will sent into your email for the said booking of the appointment.
