By Air: The most convenient way to reach Siargao Island is by flying into Sayak Airport (IAO Sayak). There are domestic flights that directly fly from Manila (NAIA), Clark (CLK), Cebu (CEB) and Davao (DVO) to Siargao. The flights are operated by airlines like PAL Express, Cebgo, and Sunlight Air.

From Manila to Siargao: Flight time is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
From Cebu to Siargao: Flight time is around 1 hour.

By Boat: Alternatively, visitors can take a ferry to Siargao from Surigao City, but flights are generally more efficient and quicker.

2. Getting to General Luna

Once you arrive at Sayak Airport, the next step is to get to General Luna, the town closest to Guyam Island.

By Private Transport/Van: Taxis and van services are available from the airport to General Luna, and the trip usually takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
By Multicab: For a more budget-friendly option, you can take a tricycle from the airport to General Luna.
