CENTRAL MARKET IN KUALA LUMPUR

Enjoy the shopping experience at Central Market in Kuala Lumpur and discover the wide array of local souvenirs, handicrafts, arts, and vintage clothes. Located around the Chinatown area, Central Market was originally a wet market during the late 1880s. But after the building was renovated the wet market was shifted to another site, making the building a place for arts and crafts. Hence the name “Pasar Seni” came up, which means the Malay word for Arts Market. Today, Central Market is one of the most visited tourist and local places in Kuala Lumpur, especially on weekends.
