White Island is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the northern coast of Camiguin an island province in the Philippines. The island can be accessed by boat from Yumbing – one of the barangay in the municipality of Mambajao, Camiguin.

By Boat: Alternatively, visitors can take a ferry to Camiguin from Cagayan de Oro or Bohol. The ferry ride from Cagayan de Oro takes approximately 2-3 hours.

2. Getting to Mambajao or Yumbing

Once you arrive in Camiguin, you’ll need to get to Mambajao, the capital town of Camiguin, or Yumbing. To reach Yumbing, visitors can take tricycles or arrange a van or private vehicle.

From Yumbing, head to the White Island boat station. There, you can hire a motorized boat to take you to the island.
Boat Ride: The boat ride takes around 10-15 minutes, and you can rent a boat from local operators.

The boat terminal is located 250 meters from the main road of Yumbing and also just beside the Paras Beach Resort. The small boat can only carry a maximum of four (4) passengers with a two-way fare of PHP 450 per passenger. Discounts will be given to children and senior citizens.
