OWWA OFW E-Card Application

The OWWA (Overseas Workers Welfare Administration) E-Card application works for the protection and promotion of the well-being of all overseas Filipino workers (OFW’s) and their families in job sites abroad and at the home in the country. The agency have a twin mandate of delivering useful welfare services and benefits ensuring capital build-up and fund viability.

What IS OWWA E-CARD

The OWWA e-Card PH is a digital membership identification card issued by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) in the Philippines. The card is used to access OWWA programs and services (welfare assistance, scholarships, training, livelihood programs). It also provide discounts and benefits from OWWA partner establishments.

Who Can Apply OWWA E-CARD

All Overseas Filipino Workers who are active OWWa members, with valid passport and proof of OWWA membership are eligible to apply for the OFW eCard.

STEPS on OWWA OFW E-CARD APPLICATION

  4. Collection Of OWWA E-Card

1. Prepare The Requirements

  • Active OWWA Membership
  • Valid Philippine Passport
  • Copy Of The Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) or OEC Exemption/Balik-Manggagawa (BM) number

2. VISIT OWWA OFFICE

OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) returning to the Philippines can visit to OFW service counter located in NAIA.
  • OFW Lounge at NAIA Terminal 1 & Terminal 3
  • OWWA Head Office
  • OWWA Regional Welfare Office
  • Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Central Office

3. Verify OWWA Membership

  • Provide the OEC Number and Passport to check the membership status in the OWWA
  • Have the photo taken by the staff and enter the signature once complete

4. Collection of Owwa E-Card

  • Scan the QR code and register details
  • Wait for the Number to be displayed on the Kiosk
  • Once number is displayed, proceed to collection of OWWA e-card

HOW DO I BECOME OWWA MEMBER

With US$25.00 membership contribution, and OWWA member is entitled to various benefits and services. OWWA membership is valid for two (2) years.

Individual can become a member by:
A  Compulsory registration upon processing of employment contracts of OFW’s at the POEA
B. Voluntary registration of OFW’s at the job sites or through online registration.
