Sleeping Rooms:  Taishikan Hut has a dormitory-style open room with shared sleeping areas provided with sleeping mats, sleeping bag and pillows. The hut has 3 story floor where most of the sleeping quarters have bunk beds. There are partitions to separate each climbing party and for some spaces are often tight. If you are particular with hygiene, bring a sleeping bag liner to add comfort on your sleep. Also wearing of ear plugs is handy to avoid disturbance on your sleep.

Restrooms: The restrooms are located outside the mountain hut which has a functional and basic toilet. Since restrooms are located outside, guest may have challenge in going over specially at night.

Arrival Time: Taishikan Mount Hut Check-in time is from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, while Check-Out time is at 5:00am the next day. Guest are advise to plan arrival accordingly, where it is recommended to leave the Subaru Line 5th station between 10am – 11am to reach mountain hut before 5:00pm.
