Springleaf Nature park is located along the Upper Thomson Road and Nee Soon Road in Singapore. The park is beside the Sungei Seletar canal that eventually leads to the Lower Seletar Reservoir. The park is open 24 hours, which makes it accessible at any time of the day you intend to visit.

How to go Springleaf Nature Park

Bus Stop At Springleaf Nature Park

To get to Springleaf Nature Park in Singapore, visitors take public transportation or drive.

  1. Public Transport (MRT)
    Take the Thomson-East Coast Line and alight at Springleaf MRT Station, the park entrance is about 5 minutes walk from the station.

  2. Public Transport (Bus)
    Take Bus No. 169, after 11 stops alight at the bus stop right in front of the main entrance of the park. Other available bus no that passes at the Springleaf nature park includes 138, 167 and 980. Also when the new Springleaf MRT station will open, it would be easily accessible from Woodlands MRT with only just 3 stations visitor will be able to reach the park.
  3. Private Vehicle or Taxi
    Inform the taxi driver that you are heading to Springleaf Nature Park, which is located at Thomson Road.

The length of the canal from one end to the other is around 1.2km. The canal is the home flora and fauna like the water lilies blooming which makes it interesting to see. Also, there are some monitor lizards and a family of otters resides on the canal. The canal also has some sightings of toman fish, terrapins, and some other kinds of fish.

This nature park has one (1) public toilet located at the main entrance of the park. There is a water fountain in case you will need to drink or top up your water bottle.

Cafe Shop

There is one small cafe in the park located at the main entrance. In case you feel hungry and want to relax after a long walk. The Lowe’f Shack provides one of kind experience for the visitor of the park where they can enjoy good food and nature-inspired ambiance. Just outside the park, there are several restaurants available, this includes the well famous Springleaf Prata. They serve different varieties of Prata, such as with eggs, onion, and even with green chili.

Car Park

There is a car park available with the nature park. The car park is located beside the main entrance of the park, and it can accommodate up to around 30 slots of parking spaces. The parking spaces are open 24 hours daily.

Springleaf Park Connector

Park Connector For Spring Leaf Nature Park

Springleaf Park Connector is used to connect the Lower Seletar Reservoir Park to Springleaf Nature Park. The distance is about 1.2km from Lentor Avenue to Upper Thomson Road. Most of the cyclists, runners, and some avid explorers will use this park connector to visit other nearby nature parks. This park connector can be quite hot when the sun strikes because there are no shades of trees and shelters along the way.

Few meters from the main entrance of the park there is Fitness Station and Playground for residents and even visitors to the park. The fitness corner has basic facilities where every person can perform body work-out. Besides the fitness station is the children’s playground where children can play with a seesaw and slides.

Walking along with the Springleaf Park connector, there is a playground/fitness station. Springleaf Avenue Playground is mostly used by residents of Springleaf Avenue. If you are interested, you can check out the place. Visitors can exercise and play while on their visit to the park.

Visiting Springleaf Nature Park is quite relaxing while watching over the serene flow of the canal while listening to the sound of the birds. The park is a good place to enjoy nature and a great place to walk around with your friends and family appreciating nature’s wonder. As we observed this park is a nice place for jogging and cycling along the long stretch of the canal. Towards the end of the Springleaf park connector, there is an underpass along Lentor Ave which allows every visitor to continue the journey and explore the Lower Seletar Reservoir Park.
