EXCEPTIONS

The Nikko World Heritage Pass is valid for 1 or 2 consecutive days depending on the type of pass you purchase.

1-Day Pass:
Validity: This pass is valid for 1 consecutive day. It includes unlimited rides on Tobu Railway trains from Asakusa to Nikko (round-trip), and it covers the major attractions in Nikko for the day, including access to the World Heritage Sites like Toshogu Shrine, Rinnoji Temple, and Futarasan Shrine.

2-Day Pass:
Validity: This pass is valid for 2 consecutive days. It offers the same benefits as the 1-day pass but extends the travel period, allowing visitors to take time and visit the heritage sites over two days.

Where To Buy Nikko World Heritage Pass

Visitors can purchase the the ass at tourist information centers, or online.

A. TOBU TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER
Visitors can purchase the Nikko pass at Tobu Tourist Information Center in Asakusa station. The center is open from 7:20 AM to 7:00 PM (Daily) and tickets can be purchased one (1) month in advance.

B. ONLINE
Visit the Tobu Railway Official Website and purchase the Nikko pass. Online Nikko passes can be purchased two (2) days before the departure date or three (3) months in advance before to the travel.

To receive the reserved tickets or to purchase the discount passes, customers may come to “Tobu Tourist Information Center ASAKUSA” located in Tobu Asakusa station. Do note that the pas is only available to foreign visitors. However, locals with accompanying foreign visitors can purchase the pass.
