How to go Keppel Island
There is no direct public transportation to Keppel Island,
- The nearest public transportation is by Harbourfront MRT Station
- Walk for about 15 mins
- Head to Telok Blangah Road,
- Turn left on the Keppel Bay Drive.
- Walk for another 400m until you see the Keppel Bay Bridge.
- Private Vehicle / Taxi
Alternatively, visitors can take taxi or Grab which takes directly to destination. It is the more convenient and faster route to reach Keppel Island.
Things to do in Keppel Island
#1 Walk Through Keppel Bay Bridge
Keppel Bay Bridge provides the link way access between mainland Singapore to Keppel Island. The bridge is about 300 meters with a designated lane for pedestrians and vehicles. It is one of the great spots to take photos of the yachts and small boats along the harbor.
#2 Check the Marina
Keppel Marina is the only marina in Singapore that offers a scenic view of the bay with yachts and yachts around its surrounding atmosphere. Visitors will enjoy the lovely stroll along the side of the marina, especially during evenings as the light of the bridges shines up.

After a quick visit to Keppel Island Singapore, I must say that the island is an ideal place for a morning walk or chill evening stroll. Given that the island is privately-owned, most of the parts accessible by the public are on flat ground which some visitors can cycle or jog around the island. The lawn area is big enough that makes a good place for a picnic and for some kids to play around. The island is not that crowded which makes it a good time to unwind and relax while watching the majestic color of the sea that compliments the harbor. For some after exploring Labrador Park, a walk through Keppel Bay is a good way to end the day while enjoying the view of the sunset.
