FOREIGN NATIONALS ARRIVAL IN THE PHILIPPINES

Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Philippines provides the latest guidelines IATF-Resolution-No.-2 on all foreign nationals arriving in the Philippines for business and tourism purpose. With effect on 4 October 2022, all foreign nationals arriving in the Philippines can enter the country for Visa-Free or can stay more that 30 days in the Philippines, provided that they must adhere the below conditions.

5 Steps for FOREIGN NATIONALS ARRIVAL To Philippines Guidelines

A. Prior To Departure

1. Foreign Nationals will need to register an account at the Bureau of Quarantine’s eTravel Arrival Card (OHP) online registration portal. Once registered, save the transaction number generated by the system, also this number will be sent through to your registered e-mail address.

2. Save or print the copy of the eTravel QR code generated, which is required to show during the flight check-in process.

Starting 4th October 2022, all foreign travelers to the Philippines will be exempted from the Pre-Departure Test (RT-PCR/ART) if fully vaccinated or individuals fall into the below criteria.

  • Individuals aged 15 years old and above who received 2nd dose in a 2-dose series or 1-dose in a single dose series more than 14 days before arrival to Philippines
  • Individuals aged below 15 years old with accompanied parents/guardian who received 2nd dose in a 2-dose series or 1-dose in a single dose series more than 14 days before arrival to Philippines

B. PRE-BOARDING PROCESS

During counter check-in at the airport terminal, present all the necessary documents;
A. Valid one-way or two-way plane ticket
B. Passport with at least 6 months validity
C. Covid 19 – Vaccination Certificate
D. One Health Pass – Registered QR Code

C. IN FLIGHT PROCESS

Foreign travelers will need to accomplish the Bureau of Customs Form provided by the flight attendant. Wearing of mask inside the aircraft is still required except for eating or drinking.

D. Upon Arrival On The Philippines

Upon arrival at Philippine airport terminal, present all the necessary documents;

  • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Negative COVID-19 Pre-Departure Test Result (Unvaccinated or Partially Vaccinated)
  • One Health Pass – Registered QR Code

E. PROCEED TO IMMIGRATION

Head to the Philippine Immigration for processing of the arrival clearance.  Once cleared collect baggage claim.

F. Going HOTEL OR RESIDENCE

After clearing the immigration and collect baggage individual can arrange transport or pickup to designated hotel / homestay or residence.

Foreign individuals arriving in the Philippines who are vaccinated, not vaccinated partially vaccinated shall undergo the below protocols effective 4 October 2022 based on the latest guidelines from IATF-Resolution-No.-2.

UNVACCINATED OR PARTIALLY VACCINATED

  • Negative laboratory based Antigen test taken (ART) within 24 hours.
  • Individuals who fail to show ART result are must undergo ART Covid-19 Test at the terminal administered by health professionals.

NOT VACCINATED MINORS

  • Minor Filipino nationals below fifteen (15) years old, shall follow the quarantine protocols of the accompanying parent or guardian during travel.
  • Unaccompanied minor below fifteen (15) years old are required to take show Negative ART within 24 hours or on-arrival ART Covid-19 if fail to perform ART before departure.

INDIVIDUALS TESTED POSITIVE

  • Any foreign individuals who tested positive during the Covid-19 ART shall undergo the government of Health (DOH) quarantine and isolation procedure.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • All passengers are required to wear a face mask.
  • Temperature screening, use of foot bath, and disinfection facilities are to be observed.
