FOREIGN NATIONALS ARRIVAL IN THE PHILIPPINES

Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Philippines provides the latest guidelines IATF 168 on all foreign nationals arriving in the Philippines for business and tourism purpose. With effect on 30 May 2022, all foreign nationals arriving in the Philippines can enter the country for Visa-Free or can stay more that 30 days in the Philippines, provided that they must adhere the below conditions.

1. Foreign nationals must be a citizen from the list of non-visa required country.
2. Individual’s must be Fully-Vaccinated with valid proof of of vaccination certificate from the below recognized agencies by World Health Organization (WHO) International Certificate of Vaccination and Prophylaxis;
3. Children’s aged 12 years and below are not required to show proof of vaccination but must be accompanied fully-vaccinated adult.

4. Foreign nationals must also present a Negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours prior to departure from the port of origin or Negative laboratory based Antigen (ART) test taken within 24 hours.

Starting 30 May 2022, all inbound travelers to the Philippines will be exempted from the Pre-Departure Test (RT-PCR/ART) if individuals fall into the below criteria.
A. Individuals aged 18 and above who received 2nd dose in a 2-dose series or 1-dose in a single dose series COVID-19 vaccine and at least one (1) COVID-19 booster shot.
B. Individuals aged 12 – 17 years old who received 2nd dose in a 2-dose series or 1-dose in a single dose series COVID-19 vaccine.
C. Individuals aged below 12 years old with accompanied parents/guardian who received 2nd dose in a 2-dose series or 1-dose in a single dose series COVID-19 vaccine and at least one (1) COVID-19 booster shot

5. Must have a valid return ticket or onward destination ticket.
6. Passport must be valid for at least six (6) months.

Once arrived in the Philippines and have complied on the above requirements, foreign national’s are no longer required to observe facility-based quarantine but shall self-monitor for any sign or symptom for seven (7) days with the first day being the date of arrival.
