Chin Swee Cave Temple is located in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. The temple is situated at the state of Pahang, Malaysia which has the elevation of about 4,600 feet (1,400 meters) above sea level. Located in highlands, it offers visitors a scenic view of the surrounding hills and valleys. Also Genting Highlands is a popular resort and entertainment destination situated about 50 kilometers (31 miles) or about 1-hour ride from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

A. PRIVATE TRANSPORT
From Kuala Lumpur to Genting Highlands, the journey will take take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Visitors will just need follow the sign or use GPS to help navigate the way. The drive is quite scenic but involves some winding mountain roads. Once you reach Genting Highlands, follow the signs to Chin Swee Cave Temple, which is located on a hilltop. At the main entrance of the temple, visitors can park the vehicle at the side of the road.

B. BUS
Ride the bus from Kuala Lumpur to Genting Highlands. The buses depart from various locations in Kuala Lumpur, including Pudu Sentral and KL Sentral. Once you arrive at the Genting Highlands bus terminal, ride the cable car (Genting Skyway or Awana Skyway) and get off at the Chin Swee Cave Temple Station. From here take the series of escalators heading down to the temple.

Chin Swee Cave Temple opening hours are from from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Daily) with visitors can come in for FREE.

Following the completion of the construction of Genting Highlands Resort’s first hotel and casino, Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong express interest in building a temple on the highlands. With his land resources, he contributed 28-acre land for the construction of the temple – Chin Swee Caves Temple. As part of the construction, Tan Sri Lim took the roles of planner, architect, designer, contractor, and supervisor. It took 18 years of manual labor to fully complete the construction due to its steep and rocky terrain. It was in 1994 when the Chin Swee Cave Temple temple was open to the public. The temple is dedicated to the deity of Chin Swee, who is believed to help in dispelling evil and bring prosperity.
