WHERE IS ADMIRALTY PARK

Admiralty Park is one of the parks that is located on the northern side of Singapore. The park stretches from the campus of Republic Polytechnic up to Woodlands Waterfront Park. It is along the cross-section road between Woodlands Avenue 9 and Riverside Road. Admiralty Park is open to the public 24 hours a day, allowing visitors to enjoy the park at any time of the day.

How To Go To Admiralty Park Singapore

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

There are two (2) ways on how to reach Admiralty Park by public transportation.

A. Woodlands North MRT station, take Exit 1, and walk for about 8 minutes to reach the south entrance of the park beside Republic Polytechnic. 

B. Alight at Woodlands MRT station and then take a walk for about 15 minutes along the road of Woodlands Avenue 2.

TAXI/PRIVATE CAR

Inform the taxi driver that you are heading to Admiralty Park, which is located at Woodlands Avenue 9, which is right beside Republic Polytechnic.

There are several amenities you can do in Admiralty Park. This includes the Nature Park, Children’s Playground for young kids and even adults, Fitness Station, Amphitheater, Car Park, and the newly open restaurant-Shiok Garden.

Children's PLAYGROUND

Admiralty Park is famous for its huge playground which is great for all young children. The park has two(2) playgrounds; Junior Play Area which caters to kids who are at the of 2-5 years old while the other Play Area can accommodate kids who are at the age of 5-12 years old. The children’s playground has 26 slides which come in different sizes; small, wide, long, and narrow.

The play area for older kids (5 years above) has many huge slides, and climbing obstacles.

NATURE PARK

Aside from its huge children’s playground, this park also has a nature park. This nature park has a mini-forest, boardwalk with mangrove trees, a grassland that homes to different species. And walking along the nature park each visitor can spot different types of animals and insects. The nature paths are ideal for walking and even cycling. During weekends or holidays, some couples and groups of friends come to visit the park.

MANGROVE AREA

Admiralty Park features a beautiful mangrove area where visitors can take a walk on wooden boardwalk to explore the mangrove habitat. The mangrove is home to various plant and animal species, including crabs, mudskippers, and a variety of birds, making it a great spot for nature enthusiasts.

AMPHITHEATRE

Amphitheatre at Admiralty Park

Inside the park, there is an amphitheater where it can host events such as musical events, concerts, plays, special functions, and movie nights. The seating capacity of the amphitheater is around 250 persons, which is ideal to hold a wide range of events for performances and community gatherings. The amphitheater is located just in front of the newly-opened restaurant Shiok Garden.

There is one restaurant located inside Admiralty Park – Shiok Garden. This restaurant serves a Hotpot and BBQ buffet from a wide variety of seafood, meat, and fresh vegetables.

Opening Hours: Mondays-Sundays (11:00 AM-11:00 PM)

FITNESS STATION

Exercise Equipment at Admiralty Park

A fitness station is also available inside the park where each visitor can perform the basic exercise. Fitness equipment for basic strength training is available such as bench for abs exercise, balance beam and calisthenics, and pull-up for dips. After a short jog or jun within the park, most of the visitors will continue to exercise at the fitness station. This is located right next to the south entrance of the park.

PUBLIC TOILET

The park has three (3) toilets and a shower, which are located along the South Entrance, West Entrance, and North Entrance of the park. All the toilets are clean, well-maintained, and it has also vending machines for the quick refreshment of cold drinks.

CAR PARK

Admiralty Park has two (2) car park areas, One is located on the West Entrance along the Riverside Road, while the other one is at North Entrance located at Admiralty Road West. A car park at the North Entrance can accommodate around 20 parking spaces and 30 on the West Entrance. Both car park gets packed quickly especially on weekends and holidays.

If both car parks are unavailable, there is a car park which is located Republic Polytechnic, which can accommodate up to 50 parking spaces.

At the end of the park, there is a small path exit that leads to Woodlands Waterfront Park, which is just across the road. Visitors who wish to extend or to explore this park can witness the scenic coastal view and picturesque sky-scrapers of Johor Straits of Malaysia.

During our visit to the park, we must say it is indeed a great park for families and a revitalizing nature park within the urban city of Singapore. All children would love to visit the park because it has all sorts of slides which they can enjoy. It would be advisable to visit the park during early morning or late in the afternoon, as it can be hot and humid at midday, so prepare to bring lots of water and snacks. While for those who are nature lovers. the park shows a wonderful display of the flora and fauna. It is a great escape from the stress of life meditating the lush greenery and fresh air emitting from the surrounding. Admiralty Park Singapore is a highly recommended park to visit, with just a 2-hour nature exploration you will be refreshed and energized after a short wander in the park.
