OEC ONLINE EXEMPTION GUIDE

All returning OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) travelers to the Philippines are required to register and get a copy of the Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) Online Exemption. The Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) which is issued by POEA serves as travel exit clearance to certify that each OFW process a valid working visa or permit abroad. The OEC guarantees each OFW that he/she is fully covered by the Philippine government’s protection and benefits.

#1 How To Register

OEC E-Registration OEC Online Exemption Guide

A. Visit the POEA Online Services website.
B. Head to the E-Registration section and choose Let’s Go
C. Click Register, to create an account.
D. Click on Accept The Terms of Use and Privacy Statement
E. Enter the required information; First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Gender, Email Address, and Birth Date
F. Once done, click Register
G. Login to your email account and retrieve the temporary password.
H. Login your account, update and change your password

OFW members who recently change employer abroad will need to update POEA record.

#2 LOGIN DASHBOARD - UPLOAD CREDENTIALS

A. Once login, upload the soft copy of Passport and Profile Picture
B. Update Profile information and add in Beneficiary details

#3 RETRIEVE OEC

Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC)

A. Click on Balik Mangagawa
B. Ensure that Passport and Beneficiary Data are available
C. Retrieve the OEC information
D. Print a Copy of the OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate)
