To speed-up immigration process, all foreign nationals arriving to Japan can now apply the Japan Arrival Card Online prior arrival in Japan. Visitor can register online through immigration clearance and customs declaration information and display the QR code required for each procedure.

#1 Visit The Website

To access the Japan Arrival Card, open browser and type the URL https://www.vjw.digital.go.jp to Visit Japan Web portal.

#2 SIGN UP AND REGISTER ACCOUNT

For registered users, login and enter the Registered Email Address and Password. For New Users, click on the Sign Up for New Account and Tick to agree the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

To register account, enter account details, Email address and set the Login Password. Password should be minimum of 10 characters with mixed letters, numbers and special characters.

A confirmation code will be send to registered email address. Enter the six (6) digit code to proceed the account registration.

#6 PROCEED TO THE IMMIGRATION CLEARANCE

After selecting the schedule of entry and return, click the “Immigration clearance and Customs declaration” button to register your Disembarkation Card For Foreigner and Declaration of Accompanied Articles and Unaccompanied Articles.

Once complete the registration, present the QR code at the Immigration clearance counters, electronic declaration terminals or inspection stands in airports to go through the Immigration clearance and Customs declaration.
