Indonesia Travel Restrictions For Tourist Visitors

With the recent easing-up of requirements for Indonesia Travel Restrictions, here we provide the latest travel regulations for all tourists. Indonesia Travel Restrictions have been streamlined with the latest requirement of the removal of Health Insurance. All visitors can now enjoy their stay in Indonesia as long they comply with the below list of information. As of 1 May 2023, tourist visitors traveling to Indonesia are no longer required to comply the below requirement. But as a precaution, individuals are still encourage to wear face mask specially if you are not well to help protect others.

A. TEMPERATURE SCREENING

  • All arriving passengers at the airport terminal are subject to body temperature screening. Passengers whose body temperature is above 37.5° Celsius are required to take an RT-PCR COVID-19 test.
  • If the result is positive and a passenger has the symptoms of Covid-19, the individual will be taken to the local isolation facility or hospital for treatment. The treatment shall be at the individual’s expense.

B. Covid-19 vaccination status

  • FULLY VACCINATED
    Fully vaccinated passengers must present a copy of the Covid-19 vaccination certificate to the officer in charge. The Covid-19 vaccination certificate must be in the form of either a physical or digital copy.
  • NOT VACCINATED OR  NOT FULLY VACCINATED
    Passengers who are not vaccinated or not fully vaccinated are required to take them on arrival RT-PCR Test

C. Download The Peduli lindungi App

All visitors are required to download and install the Pedulilinduing app from (Apple Store or Google Play). After installation, visitors will need to register the account which will then be used to monitor and contact tracing for Covid-19.

PeduliLindungi is now migrating to SATUSEHAT Mobile as the valid application for covid vaccine status check upon entering Indonesia. Existing users PeduliLindungi can still log in directly without re-registration on SATUSEHAT Mobile.

D. COVID-19 TEST

  • FULLY VACCINATED
    Not Required to take Covid-19 Test
  • NOT VACCINATED OR  NOT FULLY VACCINATED
    Individuals who take the Covid-19 PCR test are not allowed to leave the vicinity until a negative test result. The cost of the Covid-19 PCR test shall be charged to the passengers except for Indonesian citizens.

E. Health Insurance

All visitors are no longer required to obtain Health Insurance.

EXEMPTIONS

  • All passengers under the age of 18 years old are not required present a vaccination certificate.
  • Also, passengers with special health conditions or with comorbidity diseases that cause the impossibility to receive vaccines must present a doctor’s certificate from the Government Hospital of the country of departure, stating that the person concerned has not and/or cannot participate in the COVID-19 vaccination.

FACE MASK POLICY

  • All passengers on the plane are required to wear the face mask at all times, except for drinking or eating. Also applicable are visitors heading to any building premises, and establishments are also required to wear a mask.
