I LIGHT SINGAPORE 2022

Let’s head into the night and visit the annual festival of lights at the I Light Singapore happening around the Marina Bay area from 3 – 26 June 2022. I Light Singapore showcase the light art installation created by local and international artist. Most of the designs inspired by the artist are made from environmentally-friendly products which help to promote sustainability. The I Light Singapore is open to the public for FREE that operates from 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM. Explore the light show to experience pleasant imagination of the different designs and have a memorable walk around Marina Bay.

The island amenities include sheltered areas, toilet and changing rooms. The island has some heritage trees, mangroves, together with wildlife animals and birds.

HOW TO GO I LIGHT SINGAPORE 2022

The nearest train station to get to I light Singapore is from Downtown MRT station (Downtown Line). After exiting the station, visitors will find the artwork displayed along the boardwalk area of Marina Bay.

I LIGHT SINGAPORE

The I Light Singapore has 20 active light installations that glow at night around the area of Marina Bay. During weekends, there are carnival areas with rides, music, and food made available to all visitors.

Visitors can take a closer look at the different artwork and take a snapshot or even a selfie with these unique designs.

To cover all the artwork design, visitors can start at the Esplanade Park, then walk over to the Jubilee Bridge passing the Merlion, Fullerton Hotel to Marina Bay Sands.

MEET ME UNDER THE MOON DESIGN

The design was inspired by the shape of the moon, which illuminates radiantly around the area.

PLASTIC WHALE

The plastic whale design illuminates in different light colors where visitors can head inside the body of the mammal to take a look and take a photo.

KEEP ON MOVING

The design was in the form of movement where it shows a mannequin all line-up doing running exercises.

Every year brings out an awesome festival, but due to COVID-19, the light show was not able to run for the past two (2) years. This time all artworks are built with even more interesting design that brings out the creative minds of the artist. Visitors will have a pleasant stroll experience along the Marina Bay at night witnessing this different artwork design. Overall I Light Singapore provides a good vibe experience around the Marina Bay at night which makes it worth a visit.
